Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains how MOTRA AI handles information when you use the MOTRA AI Android app, package com.motra.ai. MOTRA AI is designed to provide informational vehicle guidance; it does not replace a qualified mechanic or emergency service.
Information used by the app
MOTRA AI may process the information needed to provide its features, including:
- account information associated with Firebase Authentication, including Google sign-in, phone sign-in, or an anonymous guest session;
- voice or speech input used to describe a vehicle issue;
- dashboard-warning images that you choose to upload for analysis;
- vehicle profile information you save in My Garage;
- diagnosis requests and diagnosis history; and
- usage information used to apply the app’s usage controls.
How information is processed
MOTRA AI uses Firebase Authentication to manage sign-in and Firebase Firestore to store the app’s user-scoped profile, Garage, history, and usage data. The app sends authenticated requests to the MOTRA AI backend to provide voice-based issue assistance and dashboard-image analysis.
Where AI processing is used for a request, the backend may process the relevant request content, vehicle context, and uploaded dashboard image through OpenAI services. The app supports English and Tamil for applicable assistance.
Why we use this information
Information is used to provide vehicle issue guidance, analyze dashboard-warning images, retain the vehicle and history information you choose to keep in the app, apply usage controls, and operate and improve the app’s responses and performance.
Your choices and account deletion
You can delete your account and associated MOTRA AI data from within the app. See Account and Data Deletion for the current in-app path, verification steps, and an alternative support route if you cannot access the app.
Security and retention
MOTRA AI uses Firebase and backend services to operate the app. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. This policy does not set a fixed retention period for every type of information. You may request account deletion as described above; limited information may be retained where required for legitimate legal, security, fraud-prevention, or accounting purposes.
